Responsibilities:
- Be the right‐hand to the Head of IT, on the ground to help implement and develop new security and compliance strategies for a fast‐growing EdTech start‐up.
- Manage incidents and policy lifecycles; stay abreast of evolving technology and regulations.
- Lead upcoming security projects such as a SIEM implementation and an Identity & Access Management project.
- Contribute to improving the company's security posture and policy framework (e.g., example policy: AI policy recently implemented).
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally for an EdTech or FinTech organization.
- Well‐versed across ISO 20071 and Cyber Essentials Plus, and data protection laws—creating standards for compliance, risk, auditing, etc.
- Experience with MDM, Intune, Sentinel and Defender, with upcoming initiatives mentioned.
