Hawksworth are supporting a Global Insurance firm to hire an 'Infrastructure Security specialist' on a full-time & hybrid basis. The role will be based in Guildford (Surrey) 1 or 2 days a week with the remaining time working from home. The salary for this role is currently set at £80,000 to £90k base. The opportunity offers a generous package that will include Pension that will match you up to 14%, annual performance bonus, 30 days holiday + bank holidays, large deductions on your yearly insurance products, and more.

The job: You will be responsible for governing, planning and delivering the safeguarding of the client's infrastructure by enforcing robust security policies, managing technical controls and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. You will bring strong technical experience in Infrastructure IT Security.

Required skills & experience:

  • Degree education in a relevant subject OR equivalent.
  • IT Security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC.
  • Good communication skills, presentation skills, Stakeholder management experience and generally good experience of working in corporate environments and management of Tech projects, bringing people together for a joint goal.
  • Financial Service industry experience.
  • NIST, COBIT frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of security management processes, practices and technology.
  • Good experience of security design, including cryptography with infrastructure, application and workplace environments.
