FX Business Manager - Permanent - London - Hybrid working

Hawksworth have a great opportunity to join an Investment Bank as a Permanent, London based, ‘Business Manager’ in the Global Markets Trading FX. Salary £80k – £120k depending on level and experience 5 days onsite a week for this role. French Investment bank and you will have close relationships with Paris so any French Language skills would be beneficial.

The job:

The daily activity FX Business Manager is responsible for supporting the FX business line Heads of desks and FX trading teams, facilitating business activity, acting as a contact point for queries relating to support and control from the business group as well as controlling and supervising the activity of the group.

• Manage day-to-day queries from various Businesses and Functions.
• Participate and maintain proper FX Governance, to lead commercial initiatives and to complete transversal projects.
• Perform daily FX P&L production and related commercial analyses for the Forex Management.
• Help in reviewing, updating, maintaining and implementing Policies and Procedures of Global FX.
• Handle on-going FX Business Management Office relationships between the FX Product Line staff and other Businesses and Functions.

Required Experience / Skills:

• Appropriate regulatory licenses to manage FX business
• Experience as a Business Manager in an Investment Banking environment
• Front Office experience
• Solid experience in audit, inspection, organisation, consulting or Forex
• Proved skills to resolve issues arising from interactions with support functions
• Experience of implementing practices in FX
• Extended knowledge of Microsoft Office, Business Objects, VBA
• Knowledge of technical aspects of Forex markets
• Knowledge of capital markets activities (business model, market/counterparty risks)
