Our client is a Formula 1 Racing Team who need a MATLAB Specialist to help make their car go faster. This is a contract role that can be either in or outside IR35, starting off for 3 months and potentially extending.
Essential
- Extensive experience using Matlab for data processing
- Ability to navigate and debug large unfamiliar codebases
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL) to read and write data
- Knowledge of software engineering practices (source control, clean code, testing)
Desirable
- Experience working with timeseries data / live streaming data
- Python development experience
- F1 domain knowledge
