Hawksworth are now recruiting for a European Investment Bank in London, who are looking to hire a Credit Risk Analyst with around 4-5 years prior relevant experience. The role is London based with hybrid working (3 days in the office per week, 2 days at home). Salary is between £60k - £70k + Bonus + Package.
The Credit Risk Analyst is primarily responsible for the risk analysis of individual counterparties and groups. The Analyst inputs to the credit decision process for all Corporate Coverage clients, decides on the appropriate rating, takes part in the decision-making process when appropriate and undertakes ongoing monitoring of the portfolio.
Required skills & experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Credit Risk analysis – Essential
- Knowledge of corporate borrowers in key sectors such as energy, metals/mining, aerospace, defense is desirable.
- Advanced credit analysis skills.
- Good accountancy and documentation experience acquired either through training or experience – Essential
- Strong product knowledge in lending, trade finance and capital markets credit risk – Essential
- Cash flow modelling
