Hawksworth UK are now hiring a Network Engineer on a Permanent basis for a Global FinTech (Wealth Platforms & Solutions) in London. This is a Permanent role offering up to £85,000 + 8% Non-contributory Pension scheme, Private Health, hybrid working (x3 days in the office per week).
The job: We’re now on the lookout for a Network DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated network solutions across our global infrastructure. In your role as Network DevOps Engineer, you’ll ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems, leveraging DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations.
The job details include required skills & experience:
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53). Essential
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler products (ZIA, ZPA). Essential
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
- Network automation tools and scripting (Terraform is essential).
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud-based security models.
- Basic understanding of SSO and identity protocols (OIDC, SAML2).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh technologies.
