Hawksworth UK are now recruiting for a ‘Network Engineer’ for London. This is to work for a Global FinTech client specializing in Wealth Management solutions & IT Platforms. The job is to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and automated network solutions across their global infrastructure.
Location: London city
Salary: Up to £85,000 + Package
Working: Hybrid working 2-3 days in the office.
You will join a technology team working on innovative projects that support their hybrid cloud environment and drive automation and security. As the Network DevOps Engineer you will ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems leveraging DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations.
Required skills & experience:
- Expert level as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53).
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler products (ZIA, ZPA).
- Proficiency in routing, switching, firewalls and VPN technology.
- Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
- Network automation tools and scripting (Python, Terraform desirable).
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, Zscaler Certified Professional.
- SD-WAN solutions and cloud-based security models.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh technologies.
