Hawksworth has another great contract to offer. We are looking for a Celonis Process Mining Data Engineer for an initial 6 or 12 month assignment. The contract is working for a global consultancy onsite at a global investment bank. Rate negotiable for the right candidate (Inside IR35). Hybrid working. Long term contract available.

The job:
As the Celonis Data Engineer, you will work with a leading financial services company, playing a critical role in transforming complex banking data into trusted process insights, enabling data-driven insights. You will contribute to building a data-driven, insight-led operating model within a highly regulated banking environment.
Some key responsibilities:
- Data Engineering & Event Log Construction
- Data Model & Data Pipeline Development
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from source systems
- Optimize queries, transformations, and data models for performance and scalability
- Collaboration & Technical Documentation
- Document data models, ETL logic, event log definitions, and migration decisions
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and audit standards
- Apply data engineering best practices, including version control, modular design, and monitoring
Required experience & skills:
- Strong experience in data engineering for process mining, with Celonis
- Hands-on experience building event logs, data pipelines, and transformation frameworks (CCPM & OCPM)
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts
- Experience handling large datasets and optimizing performance for analytical workloads
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Familiarity with process mining concepts and how data structures impact analysis outcomes
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Good to have knowledge in Banking and KYC Ops
