A leading multinational Banking institution are looking to hire talented and passionate ‘AI Software Engineers’, for their site near Knutsford / Manchester. The client are very well respected globally, they have enterprise environments, a global reach and offer retail, investment and wealth services. The opportunity offers hybrid working (x2 days in the office per week, x3 days from home). Salary ranges depending on level and skill, but between £50k and £90k + bonus + package.

As an AI Software Engineer, you will pay a key role in shaping modern engineering practices and driving innovation across their platforms.

What we are looking for:

  • You will be a skilled software engineer with strong knowledge of modern architectures and hands‑on experience with containerisation.
  • A good understanding & keen interest of GenAI and agentic AI frameworks, including LangGraph and CrewAI.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience creating AI solutions, from ideation through delivery.
  • Practical commercial experience with AWS and/or Azure, including the use of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tooling and patterns.
  • AWS or Azure certifications that validate your cloud engineering expertise.
  • Ability to innovate, challenge convention, and bring new thinking to complex engineering problems.
