Are you ready to bring your experience and passion for the On and Off trade to a hugely exciting business with an award winning drinks portfolio?

Hawkstone are looking for a Head of Trade Marketing to join the team and oversee the creation and development of the activation strategy across the On and Off Trade.

If you are an ambitious self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, you will thrive in a business where autonomy is the name of the game.

This is a multi-discipline role, and so you need to have a good understanding of both the On and Off Trade as well as a passion for beer & cider. Whilst this is a Head of role you will be extremely hands on, the business is building with huge momentum.

The role…

  • You will be the Hawkstone brand guardian and responsible for developing the through-the-line strategy for the beers and ciders portfolio and delivering it across On and Off Trade.
  • Create and develop trade activation materials and ensure trade channels have all assets they require incl. social tools.
  • Create compelling sales presentations to aid selling arguments for customers.
  • Attend all key On & Off Trade customer meetings with a view to being the marketing expert in these meetings.
  • Work closely with wider teams to plan and execute the brand experiential and trade events calendar.
  • A confident copywriter, you will be the point of contact for drinks industry PR, delivering key messages and timely comms and developing relationships with key trade media.

Why this role?

  • This is a central role in the team and you will be given the tools to develop and thrive.
  • You will be joining the 24th fastest growing company in the UK and the fastest growing beer brand according to the Sunday Times Top 100.
  • With recent new wins, significant investment and the hugely successful launch of Clarkson’s Farm Season 3, now is a great time to join this incredible brand on their journey.

The Company…

  • Hawkstone’s mission is To honour the blood sweat and tears of British farmers by turning their barley, wheat, apples and botanicals into the world’s best beer, cider and spirits.
  • Every Hawkstone product is a unique combination of hard work, quality ingredients, brewing expertise and personality. This shines through everything they do, giving Hawkstone a distinct tone and making it a thoroughly modern, influencer-driven brand.

Key requirements…

  • Candidates must have previous experience of the On Trade and an understanding of the various challenges that may exist within both the Managed On Trade and Free Trade (and ideally also previous trade marketing experience in the Off Trade). A key element to this is also working with events; we will require a good understanding of this area.
