Telehandler Operator
Sunderland Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced
Telehandler Operator
to join a busy construction site in Sunderland for approximately
2 weeks . The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a telehandler, assisting with the movement and handling of materials around site and supporting the wider site team with general telehandler duties. Duties & Responsibilities
Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently.
Loading, unloading and moving materials around site.
Assisting trades and site management with material movements.
Carrying out daily safety and equipment checks.
Following all site health and safety procedures.
Keeping the work area tidy and safe.
Carrying out other general telehandler duties as required by the Site Manager.
Requirements
Valid
CPCS or NPORS Telehandler qualification .
Relevant experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
Full PPE required.
Previous construction site experience essential.
