We are currently recruiting for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator with GPS experience to join an ongoing project in Eaglescliffe. This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled operator who is confident using GPS machine control systems and can work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently.
- Work using GPS machine control systems to carry out precise excavation and grading.
- Complete excavation, trimming, grading, and material handling to specification.
- Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any defects.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with the site management team to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience using GPS machine control systems is essential.
- Previous experience on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Ability to work from site plans and levels to achieve accurate finished grades.
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full PPE.
