As Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth, safe and efficient running of the kitchen. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and management team to oversee deliveries, compliance, maintenance and day to day organisation ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and meets the Hawksmoor standard of food safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily kitchen operations including goods receiving, storage and stock control
  • Reconcile delivery notes and assist the Head Chef with regular stock takes
  • Oversee ordering of non-food and all-purpose items
  • Manage linen, waste and recycling processes efficiently
  • Maintain due diligence records, food safety and health & safety compliance
  • Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs via Pronett
  • Support with audits, checks and reporting to ensure full compliance
  • Work closely with chefs and managers to create a clean, safe and organised working environment

Who You Are

  • Experienced in kitchen operations or management in a hospitality environment
  • Organised, proactive and detail-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about food safety, health & safety and due diligence systems
  • Comfortable managing suppliers, deliveries and maintenance partners
  • A reliable team player who takes pride in supporting smooth service and high standards
