Head Chef – Hawksmoor Liverpool
We’re looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Hawksmoor Liverpool . This is a rare chance to take the reins in a restaurant known for its high standards, outstanding food, and welcoming culture . You’ll be cooking with world-class produce alongside a talented brigade, and setting the benchmark for quality and consistency in the city.
As Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for the leadership and management of the entire kitchen department. You’ll:
Inspire, teach, and develop your team, ensuring every chef knows their role and has the support they need to grow.
Deliver the outstanding food Hawksmoor is known for, maintaining consistency and quality at scale.
Manage daily kitchen operations, stock, and labour costs, always with an eye on efficiency and excellence.
Drive standards in food safety, health & safety, and sustainability – we expect 5* ratings across the board.
Champion our values and culture, creating a supportive, inclusive environment where people love to work.
Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and profitably.
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality, high-volume restaurant.
Strong leadership skills – you’re a role model, teacher, and motivator.
A passion for great food and sourcing – you care about ingredients, provenance, and sustainability.
Commercial awareness – comfortable managing GP, labour, stock, and rota planning.
Calm under pressure and focused on solutions, even in the busiest services.
