Location: Hawksmoor House, London

Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract

Working pattern: 3 days per week

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 FTE, pro-rated depending on experience

As Mid-weight Interior Designer at Hawksmoor, you’ll join our in-house design team, supporting the delivery of restaurant projects across the UK and US. This is a hands-on role for someone organised, technically strong and happy to get involved in every stage of the design process, from drawing packages and FF&E sourcing through to site support and installation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced interior designer looking for a flexible, part-time contract with a brilliant hospitality brand, supporting live restaurant projects across the UK and US.

You’ll work closely with the Design Director, suppliers, agencies, operations and maintenance teams to help bring Hawksmoor spaces to life and keep our restaurants looking and feeling like Hawksmoor.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce accurate technical drawing packages including plans, elevations and details using Vectorworks
  • Support design development through research, materials, presentations and creative input
  • Source and coordinate FF&E including furniture, lighting, finishes and tableware
  • Manage samples, suppliers, project trackers and key documentation across live projects
  • Support procurement, logistics, deliveries, site visits and installations
  • Prepare information for planning applications and Building Control
  • Work with operations and maintenance teams on smaller restaurant projects and brand standards
  • Support restaurant openings, including working with interiors photographers where needed

Who You Are

  • Experienced in interior design, ideally with around 4 to 6 years’ experience
  • Technically confident, with strong Vectorworks skills
  • Comfortable using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture and detailing
  • Highly organised, practical and able to manage multiple projects
  • Clear and confident when communicating ideas through drawings, writing and conversation
  • Positive, proactive and happy to roll your sleeves up
  • Comfortable travelling to restaurants across the UK, Ireland and sometimes further afield
