We’re looking for a Wine Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the revenue, profitability and quality of wine, including buying, financial analysis, training and operations relating to wine for existing and future restaurants. The main focus of this role is building a wine culture for staff and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching WSET in-house to staff (level 2 ideal, level 3 a bonus)
- Working with our internal training team to develop strong standards and a program for engaging training from induction level and beyond
- Managing revenue and cost for wine and analysing its financial performance
- Setting and maintaining financial targets and reporting monthly
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
