As Assistant Reservations Manager at Hawksmoor, you’ll support the Reservations Manager in leading the reservations and host team, ensuring every guest experience is warm, seamless and well organised. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the restaurant. You’ll be welcoming guests, managing reservations and flow during service, and supporting the team on the floor rather than sitting behind a desk.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Reservations Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the reservations and host function
- Help lead and motivate the host and reservations team during service
- Manage bookings, walk‑ins and waiting lists to support smooth service
- Welcome guests, oversee seating plans and support cloakroom and arrivals
- Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and the kitchen to keep service flowing
- Handle guest queries, special requests and feedback with confidence and care
- Step up to lead the function when the Reservations Manager is not on site

- Experienced in reservations, hosting or front‑of‑house leadership in a quality restaurant
