As a Grill Chef at Hawksmoor, you’ll take ownership of the most iconic part of our kitchen. Cooking over charcoal and working with exceptional, grass-fed beef, you’ll deliver perfectly cooked steaks with precision, confidence and pride. This is a hands-on role at the heart of service, where consistency and timing matter just as much as technical skill.
What You’ll Do
- Cook steaks and grill items to Hawksmoor standards
- Manage your section with precision during busy services
- Control timing, temperature and consistency on the grill
- Maintain high standards of food safety, organisation and cleanliness
- Work closely with the pass and wider kitchen team to ensure seamless service
- Support junior chefs working within your section
- Experienced working with fresh food in a quality kitchen
- Confident cooking meat and managing high-pressure service
