Hawksman Technology is partnering with a prominent international bank to appoint a senior Technology Portfolio Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving strategic alignment across the organisation’s technology landscape. This highly visible position works closely with the Technology Leadership Team, ensuring portfolio oversight, prioritisation, and governance are aligned with the bank’s broader strategy and long-term objectives.
In this role, you will enable senior leadership to make informed, high-quality decisions by delivering clear portfolio insights, establishing strong governance frameworks, and facilitating prioritisation across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while delivering transparent reporting and data-driven insights.
- Support the Tech Leadership Team through portfolio analysis, prioritisation frameworks, and the consolidation of complex information into clear executive-level materials and quarterly updates.
- Drive portfolio prioritisation across the organisation, collaborating closely with stakeholders to maintain alignment with evolving strategic goals.
- Design and implement effective governance structures, portfolio processes, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Identify portfolio risks, issues, and emerging trends, ensuring proactive communication and timely mitigation with senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex datasets and strategic inputs into concise, actionable insights that support executive visibility and informed decision-making.
- 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, programme governance, or strategic delivery within financial services or large enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex portfolios and align initiatives with organisational strategy.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience transforming complex data into executive-ready materials and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing governance frameworks and portfolio management processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple organisational levels, including executive leadership.
