Hawkroot is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is a fully remote, part-time role designed for recent graduates who are looking to build practical experience working with real datasets and reporting tools in a professional environment. You will support the team with data organisation, analysis, and reporting tasks that contribute directly to client-facing and internal projects.
Duration: 3 months (Part-time)
Working hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £15.50 per hour

What You Will Do
- Assist in organising, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis
- Support data extraction and querying using SQL
- Conduct analysis and produce summaries using Microsoft Excel
- Help build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets and document findings clearly
- Collaborate with team members on data-related tasks and deliver work to agreed timelines
- Maintain accurate records of data processes and analytical outputs
Who We Are Looking For
- Recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- No prior professional experience required — strong academic background and personal projects are welcomed
- Basic knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Clear written communication skills — able to present findings in a structured and accessible format
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Organised and reliable with the ability to manage tasks within agreed deadlines
