My client is an award-winning contractor looking to secure a permanent Site Joiner. They offer long-term security and the opportunity to progress through the business.

Duties and job details:

  • Joiner on sites carrying all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery; wall units, base units, worktops, doors and frames, shelving, IPS, boxings, stud partitioning, hoardings, etc.
  • Work is nationwide and you will likely be required to work away from home Monday to Friday.
  • Pick up for travel to site. You will either be with others as a passenger or you may be a driver (van provided).
  • Standard hours are 8 per day, on site, at £15.00/hr; hours may be longer depending on site hours, especially when working away.
  • Hours thereafter time and a half for Saturday and Sunday (not compulsory).
  • Travel time to site and back paid.
  • Overnight accommodation is paid for.
  • Daily meal allowance of £18.75 paid, plus £5 for breakfast if not in a hotel.
  • Annual paid leave: 22 days paid plus bank holidays.
  • Pension: 5% employee / 4% company.
  • Note that local work cannot be guaranteed as my client works nationwide.
