My client is an award winning dry lining specialist looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their business on a full time permanent basis. Responsibilities:

Generating Applications for Payment (Valuations).

Pricing Variations & additional work.

Checking fortnightly Sub-Contractor labour invoices & issuing of Payment Notices. Liaising with Sub-Contractors regards claims for additional works. Logging payments made.

Assisting with the checking of Sub-Contracts & all associated Numbered Documents.

Attending Pre-Contract Meetings with our perspective clients. Negotiating terms.

Quantifying work using our onscreen measuring software.

Liaising with our Project Managers & visiting our live projects. Providing support to our delivery teams.

Upon award of a new contract, creating Project Budgets; including labour, materials & Preliminaries predicted spend.

Re-tendering of materials with our network of Suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency.

Driving down costs generally to maximise margins.

Producing labour ‘Target Sheets’ or ‘White Cards’.

Updating Budgets regularly, providing our Board with real time project financial reports.

Based at my clients Eastbourne offices. Occasional working from home is open to discussion.

Statutory holiday and bank holidays entitlement (currently 28 days per annum).

Company vehicle – subject to negotiation of overall package.

Private healthcare – subject to negotiation of overall package.

October / November 2026 start available.

EXPERIENCE IN THE DRY-LINING INDUSTRY IS PREFFERENTIAL but not essential. All levels considered. Please send a CV in the first instance
