We are seeking a dedicated Self Employed Dog Groomer to rent a table in our gorgeous salon and provide professional grooming services to clients' pets. This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to operate your own grooming business while delivering high-quality care and grooming tailored to each dog's needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, excellent customer service skills, and experience in dog grooming or veterinary care.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, clipping, and styling of dogs according to client preferences and breed standards.
- Assess each dog's coat condition and skin health, providing recommendations for ongoing care or treatment if necessary.
- Handle dogs safely and humanely during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic grooming environment, including sanitising tools and equipment after each use.
- Manage appointments efficiently, providing excellent customer service and clear communication with pet owners.
- Offer advice on pet grooming routines and general animal care to clients.
- Keep detailed records of each dog's grooming history and special requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dog grooming and established client base is highly desirable.
