Job Title: Car Sales Executive – new and used Location: Southampton Salary: £50,000 OTE Hours: 5 day working week Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a successful, family-run dealer group in Southampton who are recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join their established Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join a busy franchised dealership, offering uncapped earning potential, a company car and genuine opportunities for career progression. You'll be responsible for selling both vehicles and associated products while managing customers through the complete sales journey, from initial enquiry and test drive through to finance discussions and final vehicle handover. Responsibilities of the Car Sales Executive: Manage customers through the complete vehicle sales process from initial enquiry to handover Build strong relationships with customers and understand their individual requirements Sell new and used vehicles in a professional and consultative manner Respond to telephone, online and showroom enquiries Arrange and conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives Follow up enquiries and proactively prospect potential customers Work towards and exceed monthly vehicle sales targets Maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent levels of customer service Promote relevant finance products, warranties, accessories and additional products Maintain a strong understanding of the manufacturer's vehicle range and available products Accurately maintain customer information and sales activity on dealership systems Manage your diary, appointments and customer follow-ups effectively Ensure customers are kept informed throughout the sales process Deliver professional and memorable vehicle handovers Develop relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat and referral business Maintain high manufacturer customer satisfaction standards Work collaboratively with the wider Sales and Aftersales teams
