The Role:
- As a Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting both retail customers and the workshop by ensuring parts are supplied accurately and efficiently.
- Handling customer and technician parts enquiries both in person and over the phone
- Processing parts orders from enquiry through to delivery
- Advising customers on product availability, pricing and suitable parts solutions
- Picking, packing and dispatching parts accurately
- Maintaining stock control and inventory records
- Supporting the achievement of parts sales targets through upselling where appropriate
- Working closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and servicing
- Ensuring the parts department remains organised, compliant and customer focused
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous customer service experience is essential
- Parts Advisor, Parts Sales or automotive aftersales experience would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software
