Location: Shrewsbury

Salary: Up to £28,585 Bonus

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break) Saturday mornings on a rota basis: 8:30am - 12:30pm (paid at overtime rate)

Hawkfield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established, family-run main dealership group within the Shrewsbury area. You will be joining a successful aftersales team within a business that prides itself on outstanding customer service, excellent staff retention, and long-term career development. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced Service Advisor or a strong customer service professional looking to progress within the automotive industry. Full manufacturer and in-house training will be provided to ensure you reach the high standards expected.

Responsibilities of the Service Advisor:

  • Booking vehicles in for service, maintenance, and repair work
  • Greeting customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Recording customer requirements in a professional and polite manner
  • Arranging courtesy/service loan vehicles
  • Producing customer invoices and associated paperwork
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the service process
  • Liaising closely with the workshop and other internal departments
  • Delivering exceptional levels of customer service at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience within a Service Advisor or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Passion for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Full UK Driving Licence
