An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our clients privately owned dealer group at their Gatwick dealership. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business representing one of the world's leading automotive brands, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of vehicle sales from order through to handover. You will be joining a confident team of four sales administrators where everyone plays a key role. You'll be part of a supportive environment where being organised, accurate, and calm under pressure makes a difference.
The Role: As a Vehicle Sales Administrator, you'll be responsible for supporting the sales operation by ensuring all vehicle administration is completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities of Sales Administrator include:
- Processing vehicle orders, registrations, taxation and invoicing
- Managing stock movements, dealer transfers and vehicle handovers
- Maintaining accurate vehicle and customer records
- Liaising with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments
- Supporting used vehicle purchasing, funding and compliance processes
- Producing reports and carrying out administrative audits
- Ensuring all documentation meets manufacturer and regulatory requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Experience using automotive systems such as Drive, Dealerweb or iStore would be advantageous
