Salary: Β£20,000 basic - OTE Β£45,000 / Β£50,000

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 6pm (5 Day working week), Sat 9am - 5pm, Day off in week, Closed Sunday

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with an award-winning family-run dealer group with Dealerships in the Shropshire area. We are recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join their busy Shrewsbury Dealership. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with an excellent training program and development opportunities.

We are looking for people with a background in sales or retail. Previous automotive experience is not essential, but would be advantageous. This position has a strong focus on customer service and customer experience, and full training will be provided by the company and the manufacturer.

Responsibilities of a Sales Executive:

  • Provide a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service.
  • Ensure customer expectations and requirements are identified and fully managed throughout the sales process.
  • Advise customers on finance and insurance products, upselling where possible.
  • Have outstanding knowledge of the brand's products and services to ensure the customer receives the best service possible.
  • Build, manage and maintain a list of viable prospects by maximising all sales leads.
  • Pro-actively conduct telephone sales activity to generate new prospects and manage customers in the sales cycle.

Key Requirements:

  • You will be a target-driven and customer-focused sales executive with previous experience within the motor trade, although this is not essential and full training will be provided.
  • Possess excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Well-presented and able to engage and build positive relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Results focused, you will be resilient to manage customer objections and to learn from feedback.
