Job Title : Workshop Controller Location: Salary : Up to £37,000 + Bonus Hours: 8:30am-6pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am 12:30pm Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a Main Dealership in the Cheltenham area who are looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Controller. Our client is looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Workshop Controller to join our busy aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the centre of the workshop, coordinating technicians, supporting Service Advisors and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience. Planning and controlling the daily workshop schedule Allocating work to technicians based on skill, availability and workshop priorities Monitoring repair progress and ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standard Providing customers with regular progress updates and obtaining authority for additional work where required Carrying out quality control checks before vehicles are returned to customers Maintaining accurate workshop documentation, job cards and vehicle history records Full UK Driving Licence Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Supervisor or similar role within an automotive aftersales environment Strong understanding of workshop operations, vehicle repair processes and customer service standards 31 days paid holiday (including bank holidays), rising with length of service ~ Company pension contribution ~ Annual company events ~ Bespoke induction and ongoing development training ~ Staff discounts on vehicle purchases and servicing ~ Retail discounts for many high street stores ~ Free eye tests, dental and therapy treatments Please know that once you have applied for this Workshop Controller vacancy, more in depth details will be given about salary and hours, and career progression with the company, so please do not hesitate to get in touch!
