Hawkes is proud to be representing a leading and fast-growing specialist masonry contractor, currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a company delivering exceptional craftsmanship across New Build and Heritage projects throughout London and the South of England.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing commercial, procurement, and estimating duties across a range of specialist masonry packages. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing subcontract packages from initial issue through to final account.
- Preparing and submitting monthly applications/valuations and securing certification with clients.
- Monitoring and tracking material and labour costs throughout project lifecycles.
- Producing accurate monthly cash flow submissions for each project.
- Reviewing and interpreting design information and identifying changes or discrepancies.
- Overseeing the procurement process for bespoke materials including stonework and prefabricated brickwork.
- Measuring from drawings to produce detailed bills of quantities and take-offs for tender submissions.
