Hawkes is proud to be representing a leading and fast-growing specialist masonry contractor, currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a company delivering exceptional craftsmanship across New Build and Heritage projects throughout London and the South of England.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing commercial, procurement, and estimating duties across a range of specialist masonry packages. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing subcontract packages from initial issue through to final account.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly applications/valuations and securing certification with clients.
  • Monitoring and tracking material and labour costs throughout project lifecycles.
  • Producing accurate monthly cash flow submissions for each project.
  • Reviewing and interpreting design information and identifying changes or discrepancies.
  • Overseeing the procurement process for bespoke materials including stonework and prefabricated brickwork.
  • Measuring from drawings to produce detailed bills of quantities and take-offs for tender submissions.
