We’re hiring! Weighbridge Operator / Administrator based near Dagenham, Essex. Full-time placement. A great opportunity to join a very established Waste Management Company! We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to support operations and keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site, ensuring compliance with regulations, keeping accurate records, and supporting the team with admin tasks. You’ll be working closely with site management to always ensure safety and efficiency.
Pay & Hours
- £12.21 per hour (8am–5pm)
- £18.32 per hour (outside 8am–5pm)
- Daily attendance bonus: £22.50 per day
- Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible within 05:00–18:00 (max 10 hours per day)
- Saturdays: 05:00–12:00 on a rota basis
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record all vehicle movements using the weighbridge system
- Input data manually only when required (e.g., IT issues)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Check duty-of-care paperwork
- Give clear instructions to drivers and contractors
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering phone calls
- Be flexible with working hours, including occasional Saturdays
