We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sprinkler Engineer / Service Supervisor to join a growing fire protection and sprinkler division supporting service, maintenance, small works, and remedial projects across a varied commercial portfolio. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone confident leading engineers on‑site while also remaining technically strong from an operational and client‑facing perspective.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for carrying out sprinkler servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and small works while overseeing engineers and subcontractors where required.
  • The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact on‑site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing on sprinkler systems
  • Diagnose faults and support remedial works
  • Lead engineers and subcontractors on‑site when required
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with compliance standards
  • Liaise directly with clients and site representatives during visits
  • Produce clear service reports and identify defects/remedial requirements
  • Support with small works and project delivery
  • Assist junior engineers with technical support and problem‑solving
  • Maintain strong health & safety standards across all works

Requirements

  • Proven experience within sprinkler servicing and maintenance
  • Previous experience in a senior engineer or supervisory position
  • Strong technical understanding of sprinkler systems
  • Ability to lead teams and manage site activity effectively
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant industry qualifications/certifications preferred
