LGV Class 2 Driver removal driver based either in London, Horsham, or Colchester. We are looking for an experienced LGV Class 2 Driver ensuring the safe loading of vehicles and storage containers. My client is a well-established national removals and storage business, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services for homes and businesses across the UK. The successful LGV Class 2 Driver will be fully conversant with all relevant company procedures and will ensure company instructions and standards of discipline, workmanship, and safety are maintained at all times for themselves and the team under their direct control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading
- Provide a courteous and professional service to customers
- Ensure timetables and service expectations are maintained
- Drive both long and short distances
- Carry out packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading of customers' goods
- Work away from base when required, including overnight stays (supplement payable)
- Be available for occasional weekend working
- Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and accident reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience in removals
- Excellent spoken English
