We are currently looking for an ambitious Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing social housing and refurbishment contractor working across planned maintenance, FRA, decarbonisation, and reactive works projects. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to step up, gain real exposure, and work closely alongside experienced commercial teams on live projects across London and the South East. You won’t just be stuck behind a spreadsheet all day. This role will give you genuine hands-on commercial experience across the full lifecycle of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with cost management across multiple projects
- Supporting valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with Project Managers and Senior QS teams
- Managing subcontractor packages and applications
- Helping monitor project budgets and commercial performance
- Attending site visits and client meetings
- Assisting with procurement and tender support
- Supporting monthly reporting and cost tracking
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying role or placement
- Experience within social housing, maintenance, refurbishment, or construction preferred
- Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious attitude and willingness to learn
- Good commercial awareness
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
