We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Social Housing Main Contractor delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment, FRA, decarbonisation, and reactive maintenance projects across London & the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of secured works and long-term frameworks already in place. The role would suit someone commercially sharp who is confident managing projects from pre-construction through to final account while working closely with operational teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the commercial performance of multiple social housing projects
- Preparing and managing valuations, CVRs, variations, and final accounts
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Cost control and forecasting
- Working closely with Contracts Managers and Operational teams
- Managing client relationships and attending commercial meetings
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and cost-saving solutions
- Supporting tender and pricing activities where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or social housing
- Experience working for a Main Contractor preferred
- Strong understanding of refurbishment, maintenance, or planned works
- Good knowledge of contracts and commercial processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Package:
- £55,000 – £75,000 DOE
- Car allowance / company vehicle
