An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Accountant / Finance Analyst to join a rapidly growing international FinTech business, working directly with the CFO. This is a hybrid accounting and commercial finance role, moving beyond traditional transactional work into analysis, insight, and process improvement. The focus is on strengthening financial controls, improving reporting quality, and supporting smarter business decision-making through automation and data-driven insight. The role offers broad exposure across finance, operations, HR, and strategic projects, making it ideal for someone looking to develop into a well-rounded commercial finance professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own core accounting processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and month-end support
  • Assist with management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
  • Build and improve KPI reporting, dashboards, and commercial analysis
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Support the CFO with financial and strategic analysis across the business
  • Contribute to operational and cross-functional projects (including HR and systems improvements)
