Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Production Shift Leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment based between York and Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving performance, quality, and safety standards.
Shift Pattern
- Panama Shift (12-hour shifts)
- Rotating days and nights
Salary
- Days: £34,785.22 (6:00am – 6:00pm)
- Nights: £37,172.44 (6:00pm – 6:00am)
Role Overview
As a Line Leader, you will be responsible for leading your allocated production line team, ensuring operational efficiency and that daily production plans are achieved. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Technical, and Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to achieve production targets
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety standards
- Maintain high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Ensure production outputs, changeovers, hygiene, and waste targets are met
- Conduct team briefings at the start of each shift (days/nights)
- Complete effective handovers between shifts
- Support training and development of team members
- Carry out key operational tasks such as changeovers and allergen cleans
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Line Leader / Senior Operator role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Good understanding of production processes and line efficiency
- IT literacy and basic numeracy skills
- Fluent English
Certifications & Knowledge (Desirable)
- HACCP Level 2
- Food Safety Level 2
- Allergen awareness
- CCP training
