Responsibilities:
- Dealing with multiple drivers
- Route planning
- Communicating with customers and external depots
- Booking delivery and collection slots
- Using a transport system for recording driver and load information
- Liaising with drivers, being aware of actual and expected arrival times, updating stakeholders on delays
- Rerouting jobs as and when needed
- Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator
