The Role

As a European Operations Co-ordinator, you'll be at the heart of the day-to-day operation, managing European road freight shipments from start to finish. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position where attention to detail, commercial awareness, and proactive communication are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing daily European freight bookings (import & export)
  • Handling customs clearance processes where required
  • Creating and managing job files and key documentation
  • Processing shipments through the Multifreight system
  • Liaising with clients – quotations, bookings, updates, and issue resolution
  • Negotiating rates and managing supplier relationships
  • Working closely with the internal sales team on pricing and service solutions
  • Monitoring shipments to completion, ensuring service excellence throughout
  • Maximising profitability through cost control and supplier negotiation
  • Invoicing and maintaining accurate operational records
  • Contributing to team meetings, performance reviews, and business planning
