Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing facility in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team where full training will be provided on internal systems and processes.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.

You'll carry out inspections throughout the manufacturing process, identify non-conforming products and help maintain an efficient production flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out goods-in, in-process and final inspections.
  • Inspect manufactured components to ensure they meet specification.
  • Identify, record and report product non-conformances.
  • Raise inspection transactions using the company's MRP system.
  • Support corrective actions and quality improvement activities.
  • Book in subcontracted parts and complete associated inspection activities.
  • Arrange or support minor rework where required.
  • Ensure production schedules are maintained by identifying quality issues early.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to minimise delays and maintain high standards.
  • We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience carrying out quality or production inspections.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (desirable).
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers or gauges (advantageous).
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using MRP or ERP systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
