About the Role
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a detail-oriented person who has production, warehouse or goods in and out to join our Quality team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing or production who is passionate about maintaining high standards and ensuring product quality throughout the process. You will play a key role in supporting inspection and quality control activities across Goods In and Manufacturing, helping to drive Right First-Time performance and continuous improvement. Working closely with Production, Stores, and the wider Quality team, you will help ensure that quality standards are consistently met and issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection Activities
- Conduct Goods-In inspections on incoming parts and materials
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using standard measuring equipment
- Carry out final inspection of completed products prior to dispatch
- Accurately complete inspection records in a timely manner
- Escalate any quality concerns when identified
- Non-Conformance Support
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required
- Support the identification and segregation of non-conforming products
- Assist in investigating and resolving quality issues
- Maintain accurate quality records and registers
- Quality Documentation & Records
- Complete quality check sheets and inspection documentation
- Maintain QA registers and inspection logs
- Support the creation and maintenance of work instructions and quality forms
- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date
- Operational Support
- Provide support to Production and Stores teams on quality-related queries
- Help identify recurring quality issues and contribute to improvements
- Promote high standards of housekeeping and quality across operational areas
- Work in line with company Health & Safety requirements
About You
- Experienced in a manufacturing or production environment
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Comfortable using measuring equipment and inspection tools
- Organised, methodical, and able to follow processes
- A confident communicator who can work effectively with operational teams
- IT literate with basic administrative skills
- Eager to learn and develop within a quality-focused role
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a QA/QC inspection role
- Exposure to ISO 9001 environments
- Experience completing inspection documentation and NCRs
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings or manufacturing processes
