With continued investment, expansion and a strong order book, they're now strengthening their nightshift team in Poole.
The role:
- Set and operate CNC Mill / Turn machines to produce precision components in line with customer drawings
- Use FAUNC control systems confidently to manage tooling, offset and machining parameters
- Carry out in-process inspection of your own work, ensuring compliance with drawing requirements and SPC standards
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and general engineering competence
- Keep your work area clean, organized and compliant with 5C / 5S standards
About you:
- Completed a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
- Strong engineering background with proven ability as a fully skilled CNC setter / operator
- Experience working with FAUNC controls
- Familiarity with Nakamura machines and bar-feed systems is advantageous
- Aerospace experience is highly desirable
