Key responsibilities
- Lead and oversee production activities to achieve targets across output, quality and cost
- Ensure a robust food safety and compliance culture
- Manage and develop production teams, providing coaching, feedback and ongoing support
- Work closely with Operations Manager to maintain smooth coordination between departments
- Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives, reducing waste and enhancing efficiency
- Use KPIs such as OEE, yield, and downtime to identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain accurate production data and prepare reports for senior leadership
About you
- Experience as a Production Manager or senior production leader in food manufacturing
- Solid working knowledge of HACCP, BRC and food safety regulations
- Strong communication, leadership and team development skills
- Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering results
- Comfortable working with data, KPIs and ERP / production systems
