HOURS: 39 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 06.00-16.00 and Thursday 06.00-15.00

Are you an experienced Forge Operative with a background in industrial manufacturing? Would you like to work for an established, successful engineering business that offers long term career prospects?
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to Forges Team Leaders or Die Plant Manager with any issues with product, health and safety or machine breakdowns.
- Adhere to and encourage health and safety methods and procedures.
- Inspection for all components throughout the process.
- Support in continuous improvement.
- Make sure all forging areas are tidy and organised.
- Work as efficiently as possible.
- Forklift truck driving.
- Drive Crane & Fork Truck.
- Hardness testing.
- Cleaning, tidying and improving the state of the department.
- Lorry loading / unloading.
- Operate machinery around forging presses.
- Sign off route card operations such as hardness testing.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Overhead crane license.
- Previous Forge experience.
- Forklift license, ideally.
