The predicted salary is between 30000 - 34100 £ per year.
You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components to customer specifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Producing high precision components on 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres
- Editing and optimizing CNC programs where required
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Machining a wide range of materials to tight tolerances
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment
- Working closely with production and quality teams to maintain standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient production processes
About you:
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls
- Experience machining precision components within industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas or similar
- Ability to read technical engineering drawings confidently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
