Hawk 3 Talent are seeking a highly organised and detail‑focused Payroll Administrator to support a Payroll Manager for a successful business based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in delivering accurate, timely payroll services. You will be responsible for maintaining payroll data, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with current UK payroll legislation. This is a fast‑paced role ideal for someone who is confident with payroll systems, enjoys working with numbers, and thrives in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and processing weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Accurately input, update, and maintain employee payroll information
  • Process timesheets and attendance data using time & attendance systems
  • Ensure all payroll activities comply with HMRC regulations and UK legislation
  • Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently
  • Support the Payroll Manager with reporting and reconciliation tasks
  • Handle sensitive payroll and employee data with complete confidentiality
  • Administer pension contributions and auto‑enrolment processes
  • Prepare and distribute payslips
  • Keep up to date with payroll best practices and legislative changes

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration role (preferred)
  • Experience using payroll software such as Sage 50 (desirable)
  • Familiarity with time and attendance systems e.g., Eco Time (advantageous)
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
