We are seeking an Early Years Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners undertaking Early Years programmes. The role involves supporting learners both face-to-face and online, ensuring they make sustained progress and achieve their qualifications.

The role involves delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework. You will plan and deliver individualised learning programmes tailored to learner needs and support learners to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours within Early Years practice.

As part of the role, you will support learners with English and maths development where required and monitor learner progress, providing regular feedback to both learners and employers. The role also includes delivering Information, Advice and Guidance to support learner progression and maintaining accurate and up to date learner records in line with funding and compliance requirements.

Participation in standardisation activities, team meetings and continuous professional development is vital in this role. You will work collaboratively with employers and internal teams to support learner success and ensure all delivery meets awarding body, Ofqual and Ofsted requirements.

This role requires travel to nurseries across Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and surrounding locations.

You must hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above. You must also hold your own English and maths qualifications at a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent.

Senior experience within an Early Years setting is core for this role. This must include experience in roles such as Room Leader, Deputy Manager or Manager, demonstrating leadership, responsibility for practice standards and supporting staff development.

You must have experience of coaching, mentoring or training others within a workplace environment. This includes supporting colleagues to develop their skills, knowledge and professional practice.

Hawk Training is committed to delivering high quality training and development programmes. We promote a culture of continuous improvement and place learner success at the centre of our provision.

No assessing qualification is required to apply for this role. If you do not already hold a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA), full training and support will be provided to achieve this qualification.
