Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and safety repairs on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to high manufacturer standards.
- Perform detailed mechanical and electrical diagnostic fault-finding to ensure accurate, "right-first-time" fixes.
- Execute routine repairs including brakes, timing belts, clutch kits, suspension overhauls, and engine diagnostics.
- Complete digital Vehicle Health Checks (VHC) and communicate findings clearly with front-of-house service advisors.
- Maintain clean electronic workshop job sheets and uphold pristine safety standards across your dedicated bay.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician, Auto Mechanic, or Specialist.
- Background: Open to applicants from franchised dealerships, independent garages, fast-fit centers, fleet operators, or HGV backgrounds looking to transition.
- Technical Skills: Strong servicing, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair abilities.
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Required).
- Desirable Perks: An active Class 4 MOT Tester Licence is a bonus (though full manufacturer training is provided).
