- Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + workshop efficiency bonus

Core Responsibilities
- Execute deep-level diagnostic fault isolation across multi-brand vehicle electronics, CAN-bus, and emissions systems
- Perform major mechanical repairs, including timing chain/belt overhauls, gearbox replacements, clutch builds, and head gaskets
- Conduct routine manufacturer-level servicing, health checks (VHC), and pre-MOT safety evaluations
- Write clear technical findings on digital job cards and brief service advisors on required repair steps
- Maintain clean work bays and uphold workshop health and safety protocols
Candidate Profile
- Technical Ability: Experienced mechanic with strong diagnostic problem-solving capabilities and heavy mechanical repair skills
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served background)
- MOT Status: Active MOT Tester licence is advantageous for enhanced starting pay, but is not essential to apply
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
