Your Role
Working as a core member of our technical team in Weston-super-Mare, you will:
- Carry out routine vehicle servicing, tyre replacement, braking system maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Utilize up-to-date diagnostic tools to efficiently fault-find and resolve technical and electrical issues.
- Maintain high-quality "first-time fix" results while adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
- Work productively to complete repairs accurately and keep the workshop operating smoothly.
- Collaborate with a skilled team of mechanics to uphold our high standards of fast, reliable service.
What You Need
- Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent). Proven track record in a busy workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
- Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and servicing tasks. Reliable, self-motivated professional with good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
